upcycling vintage furniture

How awesome to take an old possibly thrown away piece of furniture and upcycle it into an amazing "new" piece for your home.  Vintage is so cool in so many ways.

Amazing what a modern paint color can do.

Talk about an eye opening splash of color. Wow!

Just a few great ideas to enhance your home, recycle an old soldier, and give you a fun cold weather project. The best part is these old pieces can be found at great prices at thrift stores and yard sales.

Have a fun Monday.

  1. The colors on these pieces are wonderful. I especially like the dresser in the children's room. I used to do a lot of yard sale shopping and this post has inspired me to get off my butt on Saturday morning and go find some new treasures.

  2. That's great. I would have loved to have had an idea like that dresser when mine were little.

  4. I painted the inside of the linen closet and medicine closet in the spare bathroom yesterday. Today I am looking at a vintage chest in my work room and inspired by your post to paint it a bright cheerful color.
    Thanks!
