a sweet vintage box redo

Have you met Rosemary at Villabarnes? If you haven't, you are in for a real treat. Rosemary, who is an antique dealer, loves to "hunt, gather, and redesign" vintage finds and she does it very well. 


Rosemary recently featured this wonderful box redesign and I am so happy to share it here with you today. 


She started with an old box.

some vintage tiebacks and horse shoes

and French papers.

some gray paint, white wash and glue

produced this

I have a lot of errands to run this afternoon and  I am going to have to bundle up, because the weather has definitely turned cooler. Great excuse for some hot chocolate with whipped cream. (as if I really need an excuse)
